The problem is the connection between Russia and the rest of the world. It's very slow and working at full capacity. So from outside Russian Russian servers seem very slow, bot the servers themself may be very good. I was shocked to see that a site that loads forever form Warsaw (where I have broadband) loads in a few seconds on a normal dial-up in Saratov!
