Frank ,there's no need to patronise. I understand the concept of discussion perfectly and at no point suggested anyone was mentally deficient, where you got that from I don't know. I was merely pointing out how off topic posts quite often seem to attract more attention than those of forum-related subjects, ie wetlook. I have no objection to people voicing an opinion, it's just a shame that more opinions aren't wetlook related.

To avoid being hypocritical I see no point in commenting further.

It's called discussion, and it's perfectly normal. You yourself saw fit to share your "observation" but anoyone else who shares their "observation" is somehow mentally deficient? And as far as the topic meing meaningless, I would sugeest that if it really was (meaningless) then nobody would have responded. The fact that such a stupid statement elicted such a vigorous response tells me that it's not "menaingless" to many who visit here.

I just thought I would observe how many people are quick to get into meaningless debate on this forum. Whenever someone posts actual wetlook we get just a few replies, not all positive either, but if someone posts anything else we have a string of replies often with an ongoing arguement between two people. Come on guys, get a grip, if you're going to reply to something then try complimenting those who actually make this forum worth visiting.

With regards to the aforementioned post, yes the comment was irresponsible and yes, the immediate reply was justified, but we don't need everyone chipping in
