What the heck is "normal". What do we feel as mainstream? I always took care not be amidst the "mainstream". But still I am part of one or an another in this or that aspect: married, have children, a house, good job, all of these are parts of a mainstream. But still I feel different as I am I and nobody other. All that coins my specific personality and makes me different to others. And being a wetlooker is one thing of these. I never felt that loving wetlook gives me a different perspective onto my cultural roots or anything else. Its just me, as my neighbour is different in his way, as he may be loving to collect stamps or anything else. Is that mainstream or special? For me the only decisive thing is, how special you feel yourself. And every individual has the right to feel special and get accepted as he/she is as long it all happens in respect of each other. By maurice - Thu 06/04/06 17:09:08 GMT i was just wondering if many of you (us) lead what our cultures percieve as normal lives? or has wetlook or other factors made you feel different? i think my own life has not been as mainstream as my friends im just wondering if this view is shared by others. |
