Just heard an interview with an "associate producer" for Desparate Housewives. The exchange that caught my attention went like this:

AP: Next season we're going to really grab everyone's attention - we're gonna get at least one of the housewives wet in every show. Sometimes we'll get several of them wet. They'll be wearing everything from swimsuits to jeans to dresses to business suits to elegant gowns. Sometime they'll even be nude - but of course you won't be able to see anything - this is television after all.

Host: But why get them wet? And especially why get their clothes wet.

AP: "Wetlook" is the next big thing in Hollywood. And we're going to be the ones who make it big!

They then went on to a discussion of wetlook (mostly ill informed, but definitely promising!).
