Yes. I too like B&W photos, but most creative people dreams in colors and today there is no price difference, so there must be a very special reason to chose B&W. Shooting in B&W not necessary makes a photo to art as some photo enthusiasts thinks.
Steven Spielberg has previously shot movies in B&W to show the ugliness of war, but this is of course the opposite of showing the beauty of wetlook.
My personal opinion is that a VERY limited color palette is often better than B&W.
