Well....I have it on tape....but I have not posted it to Wamtec Gold because I think WetinRed already posted it on his site or somebody posted it to rapidshare....so I try to avoid posting clips that others have already posted...no sense in being redundant. Check the WetinRed site...cos I think they already posted it....if not..I will post it to Wamtec Gold some time.

personally...I think the scene is a little over rated....not because of the clothing...cos jeans is fine with me...but because you never actually see the jeans being wet...cos there are no "aftermath" or "exit" shots in this sequence....Amanda merely gets deeper in the water and then you never see her again. As a wetlook purist...I want to see wet "look"...and you can only see that if a scene has all 3 elements...i.e. a "before" (dry) scene a "during" (in the water) scene, and an "after" (getting OUT of the water) scene. A scene that never shows the girl dry before hand...who is already in the water...is called an "in-progress" scene...which is most unsatisfying...and a scene where you never see the girl exit the water...is called a "no aftermath scene"...which is even worse.

That is why I am not very interested in the Amanda Tapping scene shown on tv....it is most unsatisfying....there are no "money shots" at all...and if they release "the making of" that scene on DVD later this summer as a DVD bonus feature...that will surely be a lot more interesting that the cuts we saw on the show.

Amanda Tapping behind the scenes photo

This is old news...in the sense that y'all know about the Amanda Tapping wet jeans flooded spaceship scene on Stargate Atlantis that happened 2 weeks ago....we all have that clip....but just in case you are living in a cave...you may not have seen this behind the scenes photo from the making of that scene....perhaps they will release the behind scenes footage of this scene when they release Season 2 of this series on DVD later this summer...

btw....there are some nice behind the scenes wetlook footage featured on the most recent DVD season release of ALIAS with Jennifer Garner...some additional wet scenes not shown on the tv version.
