I know that it was meant sarcastic, but it was Stormy himself, who asked for comments, and if you do that you must be ready for all kind of comments. I would never post negative comments to anybody, who has not asked for comments!
I think that my comments are of the constructive type, which may give Stormy something to think about. Many wetlook producers get a lot of back-clapping comments, but do people sign up? Isn't it better to tell honestly what you mean - of course in a decent language?

By MaK - Thu 02/03/06 01:35:41 GMT Well, what have you missed?
What do the "5 feet" "0 inch" numbers do in the picture? Why do the girl put her feet’s in the water and simultaneously looks like she hates it? Where is the story? Where is the light that ought to bring life to the picture?
Ask yourself a question. Is this world-class photography or just the usual click-click-click-click-hope-at-lest-one-picture-is-good way of doing photography?
I must admit that I am not among your biggest fans for more reasons:
In the majority of your pictures the girl is just modeling in front of a camera, as she would do in the studio. She is not behaving in a natural way. I know that you want your pictures to tell a story, but this is almost the only thing they do not do. If you want that, you must be "a fly on the wall" like you see in many press photos.
Also you do not pay much attention to the background and the light. I get the feeling that to you the water is just something, which is necessary to make the girl wet, but there is only one reason for a girl to go into the water with her clothes on: She must find the water irresistible. Why not tell that story?
The background and the light are like yin and yang. Yang - the light - brings life to yin - the girl. If you remove one of these parts we are not talking world class photography any longer and I presume that this is what you want since you are on OMP and not on Webshots!
Honestly stormy - you can do better than that!

I don't like this photo because:
--She's not wearing jeans --She's not wearing a bra, so it's not really "wetlook" --She's not very wet yet --Her hair isn't wet --She's looking at the camera --The pool is only 5' deep --It's not outside --She's too old --It's too staged --Her makeup isn't Maybelline --She isn't wearing a wedding dress
Anything I missed?
