How 'rebuilt' is Phuket? I was under the impression that Phuket and the Phi Phi islands were the hardest hit by the Tsunami. |

By MK - wamtec@compuserve.com Mon 27/02/06 17:28:16 GMT Skip Pattaya....the beach is an open sewer (and I am not joking...it is...the city's sewer system broke down about 10 years ago)...so no sane person goes swimming at that beach any more....For best beaches...go to Phuket, Phi Phi islands etc
For waterfalls....there are many....you will find lots of stuff to see at Maesa Falls near Chiang Mai.

By wetshape - Mon 27/02/06 14:38:44 GMT I'm off on Thursday for three weeks holiday in Thailand. Sadly I will leave before the water festival but what I would really like to know is if there are any particular parts of Thailand I should visit for wetlook. I mainly interested beaches but will visit lakes/waterfalls if they come highly recommemded. Thanks for any tips. |
