It is a upportunity (I hope I spell this word right) to go in the water fully clothed and nobody looking strange to you, because a lot off peolple go in with the clothes on.
I didn't take the dive this time because I had to work. The sea at Scheveningen was 7 degrees, it was on the news. At water in the lake by my village (some people take the dive)there was still Ice on it. I think that was very cold.
Are there any girls on this forum who take the dive fully clothed. It would be nice to hear those stories, |

By Frank - Mon 02/01/06 17:53:35 GMT I thought and I did! The weather wasn't fine for our fireworks but in the early morning (still raining) it was the right weather to take a dip in a river. It was cold but okay, you shouldn't go in more than waste-deep if you're not used to swim in ice cold water - and you shouldn't stay in longer than a few seconds. Usual clothes like jeans, T-shirt and pullover are okay at about 4 degrees celsius (and that was a really warm day compared to the last 4 weeks). Which temperatures do you have in the Netherlands? |

By John - sir-john@wanadoo.nl Sat 31/12/05 12:03:52 GMT Hello!
Is there anybody who thinks about a [clothed] new years dive? I have been thinking about doing this. Who else thinks about doing this and in which clothes? Happy new year, John.
