1) I avoid using the mouse as much as possible - it causes my shoulder problems. So I use the keyboard a great deal. But frames make using the keyboard much more difficult and I have to more often resort to the mouse.

2) If I want to save the web page, it's much trickier if it is in a frame.

3) If I want to email the page (not just the link), it's downright difficult (requires emailing the outermost frame after attaching a BASE element.

4) It's too easy in a frame site to get far away from the refering page - so going back takes a long time. Of course, I could go back between each new frame load, but to visual layout lends itself to clicking away without going back.

5) My eyesight is such that I need large fonts on my computer. But most people who layout frame websites never look to see what they look like with large fonts. Often they are really screwed up with parts of frames simply not visible.

5) If there is a photo in a framed webpage, it often is either obscured by the other frames or it resizes quite small.
