However, as my grandfather used to say: "Nothing is so bad that it is not good for something." Perhaps everybody else will be more reserved using the anonymous alias as he or she may otherwise be mistaken for this dickhead. This will be a very good thing.

There is no doubt that this forum is the best because you can stay anonymous and do not need to register with an e-mail address. This brings forward valuable subjects that may otherwise be too embarrassing to talk about. But this freedom also opens up for negative comments. Just ignore them. It is the price of free speech.

Perhaps the real problem is the lack of positive comments! Personally I have a very simple rule. If a picture is good enough for storing on your hard disk it is also good enough for a thumbs up and a thanks. If everybody else did the same, the few negative comments would drown. Sorry if you have not seen my alias on Webshots, candid pictures or party pictures. I almost newer open them.

Besides, from a technical point of view it may be very difficult to block somebody because of dynamic IP addresses etc.
