I've done a whois at RIPE. The IP belongs to the Vienna University.

The poster (193.170.62.18) of the 19247 message that may have prompted your thread, had not posted anything else. If you can point me to some other Anon posts, I can check if there is 1 person posting a lot and ban them.

As you've probably noticed, replying to a troll just draws attention away from the good threads. I would ALWAYS rather get an email than have to wade through loads of postings.

At that time I just thought I should ignore it and not trouble you. It wouldn't change my model's reaction, as she already saw it. But when I saw that this "Anonymous" is flaming every Webshots contribution (probobly always the same "Anonymous" - as his posts are always the same) and discourageing contributors I changed my mind and thought it was time to act. And why, I didn't think of mailing you? Well, I thought that posting an alarm message and making a fuss here would do good for the other flamed contributors - they would see the troll problem and post Webshots despite the comments... and the second reason is... I just didn't think of it ;). Sorry. Anyway, if you wish you can dump this entire thread. Probobly writing it here was not a good idea. Nex time I will write to you (well, I hope that the idiot is gone and there will be no next times, but that's wishful thinking with todays technology :( )

I know AnthonyX is right. Trolls should be ignored. It's just that that cretin made my model cry. She doesn't want to do anymore WL pics, not to mention posting them here. And she got flamed (really badly - read the message quoted above - it's in the archive) just because her photos were on WEBSHOTS. And that after she gave them completly for free. I didn't react like this for some time, but I see now that this bastard is still on the forum, flaming all girls on Webshots pics and the contributors and everyone is tolerating him, including those in charge, though he broke many rules. It's really unfair.

Responding to trolls as you are doing is basically letting them win. You know the value of your work, as do the majority of the people who post here. Why give any credence to someone you don't even know, just because it's negative?

This sort of thing happens from time to time. Trolls with nothing better to do come to these forums and post with the express aim of stirring up trouble, pissing people off, and generally being destructive. The best response is to ignore them and do what you would want to do if they never said anything or even existed.

If you have an issue with trolls, follow Nigel's instruction: email him directly about the post(s) in question (I wouldn't bother FAO'ing him on the forum). Whatever you do, DON'T respond to the troll in the forum - it's what they want you to do.

Might be sad news for all that like pics of Kasia (300 456 view when taken down). I will share NO MORE pics on this forum. I'm leaving this place. Some prick flamed me for contributing FREE HIGH QUALITY WETLOOK PICS and flames all other contributes (finders and producers) that happen to use Webshots. And he is NOT BANNED though breakes the rules and is defended by such longtime members as Soggybottom. I'm leaving and I advise other Webshots contributors NOT to post links here. Maybe if the communty stops getting FREE wetlook pics and has to PAY for everything, they will sto defending the trolls and stand on the side of the contributores. For now, this place is ridiculous. I will probobly get a ban from Nigel for this (though the anonymus prick didn't :-D), but I dont care. Maybe my post will help this place to change and be like the Bravenet Forum in good old days (and this one when it started) and maybe not. If not, I leave as many much greater then me, long time contributors left in the last years.
