I thinks it's best to keep the code to single letters and not venture to much into differentiating between multiple clothing types in a picture. I always think Steve Fraser does a great job when he lists his links with descriptions ( see posting 18759 for comparison ) but not everyone is going to want to do that, whereas it only takes a moment to add a single letter at the end of a link. Look at Rumple's 18802 listing. He did a lot of work posting all those links, and spent a while writing "next" etc by some of the links. Perhaps a simple letter designation by each link as opposed to "next" wouldn't take any more time than that did. There is no need for him to write "next" at all because often the images follow in numerical sequence so once you've seen the first image you can see for yourself that the next one is in that same sequence or different from it. From my own point of view it's frustrating trawling through dozens of listings and not finding anything that I like, then I feel bad thinking about all the effort that someone like Rumple has gone too, and I end up not appreciating it which is a shame because he is making a valuable contribution to the forum and he shouldn't be getting negative comments as reward for his effort. So a simple single letter just to denote the most basic content of the image would I think be best, it's just getting people to use it that will be difficult. Glad it's got folk thinking anyway.

How about C for "combination" of two or more types of clothing?  I assume your single letter designation are for links that have only one type or perhaps a type more dominent if others are present.

Having just come back from a holiday and being overwhelmed by all the webshots listings I think we should devise a code so that when we see all the links we can decipher which ones we are interested in. Most of the listed links are to pictures with jeans and T shirts and I prefer skirts and hose. I suggest a single letter at the end of each link like "S" for skirt "J" for jeans "T" for t-shirts "D" for dress, then at least it would make it easier to see what is of interest personally. For someone to spend ages looking for any pictures like those on webshots, and then spend all the time it takes to post the links on the forum, and then get critical comments made is demoralising. It would only take a few more minutes to add a single letter at the end of each posted link and hopefully would help avoid getting negative comments from some of the forum users. Just a thought. A word of thanks too for every one that takes the time to post all the links. Remember that wetlook is supposed to be for fun not bitching!
