Jennifer and I wanted to thank all those who donated to a new camera for us. We received 5 donations that totaled to around $115. Several people told us that they'd like to donate but couldn't for one reason or another and we understand those situations. They wanted to let us know they support us just the same and that the wetlook community would come to bat and the community did help a great deal. The camera we decided to get is a Olympus Stylus Digital 500 (http://www.steves-digicams.com/2005_reviews/stylus500.html). It's not a real expensive camera, but it's water resistant!! It also has an optional remote control and underwater housing. The zoom isn't real great at only 3x (our old camera was 4x), but it will have to do. The fact that it's water resistant and can take a bit of splashing was a big plus for us. We'd eventually like to get an underwater housing for it since there's one on the market that fits it.
