I LOVED the 80's as far as fashion and wetlook were concerned!Yes,I was just discovering the erotic appeal of wetlook/mudlarking too around the early 80's.I was lucky cause skintight jeans on men & women were all the rage,and several of my friends had swimming pools!I'd do the old " no I'm not gonna swim today" and stand or sit by the pool until someone pushed me in,then I'd have to act all pissed off,(but of course..).I remember one huge party had a mix of people from the painted on jordache jeans wearing "guidettes",to the black spandex clad heavy metal chicks.By the end of the night EVERYONE was in the pool!If only I had a camera with me!(but then I might have missed out on alot of the action,plus that was before waterproof cameras were invented),I can sound off any and every wetlook happenings from just about every t.v. show from the 80's!Remember that time Heather Thomas was dragged into Lee Majors hot tub on the fall guy!I also remember a really nice quicksand scene on the six million dollar man! and of course the BEAUTIFUL Heather Locklear in the pool in her tight jeans and red top on Dynasty!

Hmm, maybe that explains why I was so interested in getting wet, so find out what it felt like-- the 80's were formative years... For anyone else here, too?

I was flipping through the channels the other day and came across MacGyver on TVLand. It turns out it was, in my opinion, the best wetlook episode of the series. It had Robin Curtis getting wet twice in her skin tight jeans. First from a bus and then later in a river. Now the question. Which era had the best wetlook? My vote is for the 80's, no contest. If you look back at all the great tv from that decade, there were a lot of tv shows that featured wetlook. Gee, where to begin. Of course MacGyver had a lot. Then there is Remington Steele, The Fall Guy, Knight Rider, Dallas, Knots Landing, Dukes Of Hazzard and I am sure there are more. What shows since then have showed wetlook on a regular basis? Besides Baywatch, I sure can't think of any. All we need now are for thoes shows to come back on.
