LS Two punts push off from the side of the River Cam with a crowd of students watching from the bank. and make turns until someone falls in. (4 shots). Various shots of water skiing demonstration on the river. (4 shots). LS Two punt teams jousting with broomsticks. One man is pushed into the river, he climbs back and wrestles his opponent into the river too. (3 shots). LS Two punt teams in fancy dress, each giving a "piggy back", topple the other team into the river with broomsticks. LS High shot of water skier turning in a wide stretch of the river. MS Two punt teams wrestling each other into the river.

Note: "Date received" on original paperwork reads: 04/11/1955. This event took place as part of Cambridge University Poppy Day Celebrations. It was decided to give combined demonstrations by the CU Water Ski and CU Damper Club. "Membership of the Damper Club is restricted to those who have unwillingly entered the River Cam or Granta from a punt while fully clothed. The aim of the club is to elevate the status of submerged members of the University."
