saddhu anonycursor :)

... agrees on that.. resentment towards the wam haters will only make us suffers and depressed.. so lets keep on enjoying wam and be happy..

wam makes me happy cos it reminds me of my happy carefree childhood years where we all used to play in the muddy fields during the afternoon rains.. somehow, culturally, most of us have grown up liking it and so we swim fully clothed in public areas such as waterfalls, lakes n rivers..

since u told me u r british..may u all be well n happy in the UK despite all the chaos(bombings)..

hope those who did it stop or get stopped as it will only make the different religions sowed hatred towards each other..

those who did it does not represent islam...my muslim pals(also lotsa wam lovers) here is sad cos it only give them a bad name..and lots of them even says since when did Allah gave those brain washed exploited suicide bombing idiots the permission to kill anybody in His name..they also says those idiots will never be matyr but burned in hell for tarnishing Allah's name.. that i gotta agree to even though i'm a buddhist and i believe in reincarnation

our condolence to the english ppl from us wam lovers in m'sia (we r a mixed bunch of all religions..muslims, christians, toaist, buddhist, hindus, sikhs n many tribal ppl)

Yay froggy_ong! :-)

Happiness is too important to let wam-hating prudes upset us, so we must all remain flexible and not become too attached to one source of supply (attachment is ''tamasik'' i.e. leads to depression and resentment)

The flag... well it's a hack, sorry... I'm not really from the Vatican! (Or from the Maldives, which is the one I used before... hehehe) UK (England) really :-)

In Shakti,

Namaste :-)

hmm.. can see and agree with your boycott point here anonycursor.. no demand no supply.. no supply no money.. no money bye bye "evil.aka.busybody" corporate/organisations... that will get rid of them..

I also agrees with your advice to our unfortunate wam pal... the net is much better than any library on the earth.. heck even I get my journals online few years ago when i did my studies.... the net is still safe n free from wam hating prudes at the moment... but for how long it remains safe n free worries me...

frog..

ps.. anonycursor, wut country does ur flag represents.. the icon in the post is too small for me to recognise

namaste :)

Ah, but we *CAN* change the views of these wam-hating prudes! Namely, economic sanctions (boycott *all* evil corporations!)

That is the *true* morality :-) Namaste!

Website: wut the heck???

wow.. the world is indeed going nuts... wetlook is considered porn in usa??  it's normal for us malaysians to swim in public with our clothes on (except swimming pools cos the life guards will give us a long lecture bout safety swimming in a deep pool with clothes weight down water blah blah blah)

I've realise not only since the tragic 9/11, even before it that half of the world is going backwards and become more 'morally' strict.. not only usa.. and a lot of countries is using or more accurately, abusing their laws to clamp down on wetlooks and other harmless stuffs.. screw the kiddy porn and hardcore ppl for giving wetlook a bad name...

it's 2005 and a lot of people is still trying to be holier than thou (no offence guys) it's a free world...we r free to make our choices and we r free to decide wut we want... wetlook is harmless cos we don't make anyone suffer.. and those who participate enjoys it...

hope the poor guy gets a pc of his own... a simple or even used few years old unit will do fine cos net surfing is not cpu intensive.... hope he joins us again soon... btw, also avoid internet cafes.. i got into a heated argument with a internet cafe operator some time ago when i opened some wetlook pics while surfing there... he was lucky i was not drunk(the cafe is near a pub where i was hanging out) that night or I would have bashed that idiot for kicking me out...

anyway..i will stop now cos there is nothin we can do to change the views of those narrow minded and ignorant so called moral guardians that is getting on our nerves.... may wetlook lives on without interference.. heck.. i even want it to live on till my grandson can see it.. :)

frog

ps.. may all wetlook fans be well and happy always

The spiritual response is to ban the library! Possibly (if it thinks it bans you countywide) ban the library/libraries countywide! True spiritual wammers don't need these self-styled authority cr1ppled s1nners! (I'm tempted to suggest ''help yourself to a few dozen b00ks from the shelves before you leave'' but then I'd be descending to their sh1tty level too...)

Economic sanctions shalt educate sinful authority!

P.S. It's no great loss to the real you, as the Internet is *infinitely* better than cr@ppy council libraries anywaiy! I haven't borrowed (legally or ''illegally'') a book from my local since I got on the net XX years ago :-)

P.P.S. You can get a PC+screen for about £400. and a 256k broadband for about £16. per month...

It is with sad regret that I must make this my last visit to this forum, at least until I get my own computer. I am the guy who posted last February that I don't have a computer and must use the internet from the library. The head librarian/thought police officer has now banned me from that branch for 40 days (I might be banned countywide when the other branches find out about it) and a threat of a lifetime ban if, after the 40 day suspension, I ever view "objectionable" material on library computers again.  Some self-richteous idiot complained about a picture of "teenagers making out". I am not sure exactly which picture this was referring to, but I think it is the webshot of the woman in the pink pants before being thrown in the pool by her boyfriend.  The librarian even admitted that the picture is not nude, but she said it is nonetheless "objectionable, borderline pornography, and not fit to be displayed in a public library where children might see it".  How this qualifies as "borderline pornography" is beyond my comprehension.  It seems that anything can be considered objectionable by some people, and when those people have power, the public gets screwed.  I suppose those pictures of rabbits being butchered in China that I looked at about a month ago (no, it mwasn't on this forum) would be "objectionable" too. It is a rare website that doesn't have the risk of an occasional f-word appearing on the screen, and some kid might read it!  The internet would be boring if I have to be super careful about what sites I visit.  Prior to the February warning, I did look at real porn. I haven't looked at any since then.  I thought the prohibition only covered porn, but I guess I was wrong.  Anyway, rather I am banned countywide or not, I can't risk visiting this forum again. I probably shouldn't look at any type of pictures of anything, as some idiot may be offended.  Text only with no cuss words, I guess. I gotta get my own computer and internet service. The thought police are making life online too hard here at the library!
