Never leave before you are all wet -- ignore stupid uninformed people...
If you're not breaking the law, you should stay in and enjoy your swim :-)
I've had this interference by police at beaches -- I just told the policeman that I was wet anyway (from an earlier swim) and he said he was just concerned that I might have been drinking... I said no, I often swim clothed, because of beach thieves (which police know full well about), and he said okay carry on! (They're only doing their job -- they can't help it)
It's the best way to educate the great unwammed public!

Went to a lake yesterday (Czerniakowski) for a fully clothed swim. Wouldn't you know it, a woman in a rowboat shouted alarm, so I had to leave before I was all wet. How annoying! |
