Should anyone in the world show respect to a person who lied to the UN security council and to his own people for starting a senseless war to make people nor realize that he is not able to solve America's own problems? It is not that long ago that even in parts of "old Europe" people had to show respect to their leaders just because they were in charge. And they had to face such stupid and aggressive comments as in this thread in case they dared to criticize. One of these leaders was the sympathetic Mr. Honecker, another one was named Ceaucescu.
Some guys will never learn ...

Sorry it was meant as a joke, but I can see that it brings forward some strong feelings. However, you should remember one thing:
Nobody deserves respect just for being a leader. You only deserve respect for what you have done. Therefore, it is not me, who should show respect for your president, but he, who should deserve my respect!
