I guess "Raindance" has more to do with a marketing campaign than a product name.
I just took a look at their website. Surprised to find so many images of attractive young couples instead of product (tires). Talk about using sex to sell!

In reply to Message (16641) Raindancer
By AnthonyX - anthonyx@jowc.net Fri 17/06/05 10:17:54 GMT I have recently seen a new commercial for Goodrich (I think) "Raindancer" tires (or tyres, if you're British!)
The commercial appropriately enough includes two couples (girls are wearing sexy dresses) dancing on a rain set. They are nicely soaked and the floor appears to have about an inch of water on it ( ~2cm). The commercial includes more shots of the dancers than it does of anything else.
I've also seen another commercial which advertises a wider product line, so there's less of the rain dancing, but there are still a few nice shots here and there.
The ad has been running on North American television; not sure if it was Canadian or US (I don't recall what channel I was watching at the time).
Anyone else seen/captured this ad?
