It's always good to meet people who aren't weirded out by the thought. It's even harder to convince others to join you, and not stare.

Dressed in a couple of layers (jeans, sweatshirt, down jacket) I went on a hike/swim at my favorite lake Del Valle yesterday. At some point a biker caught up with me and asked "So you go swimming in your clothes?". I told him that I always do that and it keeps me warm. His response was simply "cool" and then we continued a casual conversation. When I went back into the water he asked if I mind if he joined. He just went in his shorts, so I guess I didn't convert him to the "proper way of swimming", but it was really refreshing to meet such an open minded person.
