True, different countries may define underage differently, which is fine as long as it's within reason (which 16 may be). But if high school juniors and seniors can be nominated, what's to stop a 14-15 year old freshman from winning this year. The question is, how low do you go with the age?
I'm just puzzled by the lack of consistency in our standards. 'Nuff said.

By FountainFrolic - FntnFrolic@aol.com Sun 05/01/03 09:11:44 GMT Hi Jim,
I'm personally against anything involving minors, and try to stay away from any of the "teen" pictures.
I think the reason you're not seeing people "up in arms" here though is BECAUSE of Nigel's rules - specifically, rule #5:
"Images of 16-18 year olds (classed as 'adults' in the UK and most of Europe) should be of a 'soft' nature, and not be overtly sexual."
Since the forum is hosted in the UK, and these are Nigel's rules, then I for one am refraining from comment in respect of that, even though I may personally disagree and would rather not see any images of 16-18 year olds.
That's my thought at least.

By Jim - jim121272@aol.com Sun 05/01/03 08:51:40 GMT Website: http://www.wetlookunlimited.fws1.com Funny, everyone is always up in arms when pics/video of a MINOR are announced...but has anyone noticed that past recipients have been high school girls, 16-17 years old? Do the 'minor' rules not apply in this case for some reason? Just asking the question.
