Perhaps I grew up somewhere else???

People from Saundersfoot would hate to hear you say Saundersfoot is in Tenby, haha!

I never spent that much time in Saundersfoot, I lived there when i was really young, to young to go wandering around the beaches on my own, so can't comment on that, but Tenby!

I grew up in Tenby, went to school there and moved there from an outer village when i was 16 and unless things have changed lots since I left, it is not the best place in Wales for wetlook, the hours I spent walking up and down those bloody beaches!  The North beach isn't so bad, its not so big.

The South beach though, jesus, what a pain, particularly on a windy day!  I would walk up and down those beaches, I'd see something from the distance that looks like wetlook, only to get close and find it to be one of the following!  A guy, A wetsuit, just a t-shirt, shorts.

Now there was wetlook at nights, both on the beach and in the pools at Kiln Park.  Also, the odd rained out beach party!  Not a huge amount though!

As for the beaches in the day though, all the good looking poser girls were local and hung out on castle beach (the one with the fort on the island), they were all posers, so very skimpy bikinis were the order of the day.

I used to be the manager of the amusement arcade on the North beach slipway, so I spent a lot of time in that beach area, wetlook was very rare, only two incidents spring to mind.

1.  There was two girls playing with a frizbie on the beach, one was prepared, bathing costume, but the other really wasn't, sexy dress and black tights, the frizbie goes into the water, so do they.  That was quite good to watch, they came into the arcade later, boy, the sweat dripping off my brow, lol!  Hey, I was only nineteen and had a girlfriend.

2.  There is an outdoor shower at the bottom of the slipway that the arcade is on, there was a girl showering of wearing a black dress, she was doing a very good job of making sure there was no sand on any part of her.

There was one funny girl, she was following me around, her and her friends making it quite obvious, I walked down the beach and accross it, I was well aware of her following me, so i said, "are you going to follow me wherever i go?", she said, "Yes!", she was wearing a black skirt and red top, so as I had shorts on, I called her bluff, I walked right out into the sea, haha, full respect to her, she followed me!  Haha, once she was all wet, I had to tell her, i had a girlfriend!  Oops!

Then there was the wetlook I created, after school, you can sort of guess what the girls were wearing then, but in my youth, I was not as confident, that happened very, very rarely, only about 5 times in total, also, wetlook was a big, big secret then, so they never knew the reasons.

In short, Tenby is not the best place for wetlook spotters.

Now, Newquay, that's a completely diferent matter, most of the action happens at night, the clubs all close and every night, there is a massive crowed down on the beach.  I was working there, right on the beach front, only a few dunktank nights, but, in those few days, it became very apparent that newquay is a wetlook mecca!
