I was briefly annoyed at losing my "browse history" on the forum messages (before I read your post), but seeing your message and the reason why, I think the issue is not worth worrying about.

Your efforts to maintain and improve the forum are very much appreciated.

The last few days I've taken off from editing the new Minx Movies video to do some improvements to the forum coding. The module to show the messages has been re-written in 'C' which should make it run much faster, and hopefully reduce the loading on the server's CPU.

One side effect is that the URL for displaying messages has changed from .../show.asp?... to .../showc.cgi?..., which means that your browser will (unfortunately) show all the message links in the index/archives as 'unread' - sorry, can't do anything about this. The old links will still work if you've bookmarked them.
