I'm sorry that you have reacted so badly, but you have completely missed the point, instead you have chosen to attack me personally.

I make no money out of running Minx, all profits are ploughed back into more shoots. Many of the other, established, producers are the same, we are in it because we like wetlook, NOT specifically to make money.

Like many producers, I happily give away thousands of pics on my website, all I ask is for some sales to cover my costs. I also provide the webspace and bandwidth (at considerable cost) for THIS FORUM completely free, without smothering it with adverts for my videos.

What you are 'giving away for free' is NOT yours to give - downloading 'free' images from the web does NOT give you ANY legal rights over the use of the images - they remain the property of the producer - most are perfectly happy for some images to appear on a 'collection' website, so long as they are properly credited, and give a link to the original website - I'm sorry if you can't understand that.

Thanks for the explanation, but with all due respect you're full of baloney.

I'm NOT passing on "stolen goods" but images that were collected in an open,

public venue, available to anyone at any time.

In fact, many of the images are from back in the day when people operated

web sites simply because they enjoyed wetlook and weren't looking to sell

anything - they simply wanted to share images.

It's sad that people like you have turned things into such a money-making

operation. God forbid someone comes along and wants to give something away

FREE that was obtained LEGALLY and free. You and your ilk are so consumed

with lining your pockets that you quash anyone who you feel might spoil your

chance to wring a buck out of anyone you can.

Pathetic excuse.

Your post was deleted because you were offering to distribute copyright

pictures/video.

You have obviously not thought about what you are doing. All pictures on

the Internet are copyright to someone, the person who took the time and made

effort to produce them. Website owners generally give away 'free' pictures

to encourage people to visit their site, and hopefully sign up to their

paysites or buy their products. By offering to provide these images simply

on a CD or whatever, you are bypassing any mention of/advertising for the

site that they came from, and hence hurting those sites.

You are NOT contributed by this action, all you are doing is undermining the

wetlook producers that made the images. In law, someone who passes on stolen

goods is just as guilty as someone who sells stolen goods.

I'm sure that you did not intend this, but please think about the

consequences. If you had given an email address on your post, I would have

informed you of the reasons when I removed the post.
