The quickest way to add a forum to your site is to use Bravenet.com Just create a login with them, then you can setup a forum. They host it, so there is nothing to add to your site other than a link to it.
Obviously, you have less control than if you host your own one, but you can control the style of it. The major 'limitation' is that there is (was) a limit to the number of messages, so eventually messages will disapear from the end, never to be seen again.

In reply to Message (15676) Sorry Off Topic>>> Technical Q
By Jay - Thu 21/04/05 13:25:41 GMT Hi sorry I know this is off topic but I know a lot of people here have at some point created a forum/messageboard on their sites, im using Dreamweaver for my site (not connected to wetlook) and want to create my own forum for it, I dont need passwords for it or anything just something simple as a place for people to leave messages, can anyone point me in the right direction? Im a bit of a novice when it comes to codes so the simpler the better if possible, I tried to use PHpbb but couldnt get it to work properly and another site that offers free ones at forumer.com you need to register etc before you can post a message which I really want to avoid.
If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated!
Thank You
Now...roll on the wetlook!
