What is done by the doctors is what we call basic support. The pope did not want extraordinary measures taken to prolonge his life. This is what is done. Even if we received a message that he is well concious, I have the feeling that his condition is too grave for him to be awake (cardiac arrest on a septic shock ...).

Don't forget that 70,000 people are awaiting in tears on St-Pierre Place. They don't want to hear that all is over. They want to hear that we do the most to help the Pope in his last moments. What is really done does not matter. For me, the most important things are dignity in death and no useless suffering.

The doctors bait themselves too much on the ends of lifetime, it is inhumain.Dieu sends a message, that to make it death without soufrance and carefully and most quickly possible.This was a great pope for all humanity.Remember.
