I have been out to Castlewood on numerous occasions over the years. Unfortunately, the few shots I took barely qualify as wetlook. Inspector Bob, watch the RFT and Post-Disgrace upcoming for my ad for models for my website. I will be trying Columbia, MO also. Are you familiar with Finger Lakes State Park down there? I have shot there two or three times both for candids and posed for the site. Pretty good luck everytime. E-mail me at interwet2001@sbcglobal.net if you want more info.

In reply to Message (15104) Castlewood State Park
By Inspector Bob - Thu 17/03/05 16:29:04 GMT I suspect this park is overcrowed in warm weather. But there is a really long sandbar that should be great for wading. The park is nestled inside a bend of the Merimac River which typically is pretty strong but swimming here should be no more dangerous than Merrimac State Park. Merrimac has those great gravel bars so you don't get sand in your shoes. |
