I appreciate your concerns...

My fiancee lives just outside Bangkok(Samutprakarn),and her family live on the Eastern side of Thailand,both of which are well away from the affected areas. But only 6 weeks ago we were both staying in Kata Bay,Phuket, which was badly affected so we were lucky with our travel plans.

Still hard to comprehend what has been done to that area.
