"Generation Y" is the generation that follows "Generation X" I belong to Generation X, so Generation Y would be young people who are now @ 18-28 y/o. HTH.

In reply to Message (13546) wetlook in brochure
By grif - grifb@hotmail.com Mon 06/12/04 15:52:07 GMT the brochure for Virgin Mobile in the U.S. has a rather large full color photo of a young hottie sitting in a half-full bath tub wearing a orange-red t-shirt type top and a pair of short blue jean shorts. She is sitting in the water, her jeans are wet and her top is visibily soaked. Of course, she has a sexy look on her face. Not the best wetlook, but not bad, especially for a brochure that can be picked up at any number of places (including Sprint PCS stores). Good to see more 'mainstream' wetlook photos being considered acceptable. Virgin Mobile targets young, Generation Y types, so this is telling them that wetlook is cool and acceptable and sexy. Works for me.
Also, as an aside, I was showing the brochure to my girlfriend and she said 'why is that girl sitting in the tub with her clothes on?' and I said, I don't know, but it's sexy. Of course, I'd like to see you in the tub with your clothes on instead....
I'm still working on it, but it was a good icebreaker and it seemed to not phase her, so that was good. Another use for this brochure.
Cheers,
-Grif
