It was in the original theatrical release in America and also on the VHS and DVD releases.

That scene was in the Canadian theatrical release, and I've seen it in every version broadcast (Canadian TV, pretty sure also on American TV). I'm surprised there is a version in which the scene does not appear.

Was that scene from the director's cut? I've got Insurrection on tape, and that scene is DEFINATELY not there!
