Many hosts won't allow direct access to pictures and many other files on the site. That way, they make sure you see the ads by going through the pages. I had a host ad ads due to the bandwidth; they wanted more exposure, they told me. I think that's the culprit (sp? (Time for an online spell checker! Just kidding.)) here. Some hosts won't even allow linking to anything except the index page. Nice try; I at least have a starting point to see if I can locate the pictures.

You may want to give the URL to the opening page for the site, and maybe that will work for folks (until any bandwidth restrictions kick in...). Just mention the pages to follow through to the pictures of interest.

It is getting difficult to find any really new Japanese idol stuff. A lot of the big gallerys that used to update daily, "Idol Sweet Memories" in particular, have gone down life's highway. Last year we lost the two biggest ones, "Idol Studio" and "Idol-net". Others, like "Idol Planets", no longer update with new pics. Some, like "Otakara Picnic" have done a make over with much smaller gallerys. I assume all this is due to bandwidth problems with servers; something everybody is fighting as the internet gets more and more crowded. Having said all that; here are a few new pics, some classic pics and some old ones for the newbies who maybe haven't seen all my posts before.

Flip Flap twins: These girls are a real trip. They are identical twins, whose names I have forgotten. They are best known in Japan as a singing duo called "Flip Flap" (why "flap" and not "flop", I don't know). They used to star in a really bizarre TV show that came on late Saturday night called "Jelly in the Merry-Go-Round".:
