FYI, this was a video segment we shot...where I basically stole the idea from a 1950's avante garde short film I have in black and white...where ladies enter the pool in their dresses and emerge from the other side of the pool in nice clean dresses. I staged things a little differently than the 1950's original...cos they shot everything in reverse video...so the girls enter the pool in their dresses...and then emerge from the pool (seen in reverse video) so their dresses are all dry as they emerge from the walk in laundry. This was a little unsatisfying -- so in my version...we had the girls enter the pool in black dresses and then have them morph into white dresses...so when they exit the pool, the black dresses have morphed into clinging white dresses instead. Whatever...it was a fun shoot to stage.
