A little explanation might be in place...

We had planned to shoot her a whole afternoon in the mudpit we dug in somebody's garden (hey, they were in holiday! :-)

That pit was located far behind the house, so, stupid, stupid... when she started playing with custard in that pit, we wanted to hose her down with the gardenhose, some nice warm water from the house... but guess what.. the hose was about 5 meters too short, the pit was too far away from the house! Merde!

So, we had to come up with an emergency-solution. Just besides the pit was a groundwater-well. With a waterpump, we managed to get a stream of the brightest and cleanest water you can imagine out of 4 meters below the surface. One thing we did not expect, was that this water was just about 5 degrees celsius... And guess who else did not expect that...

So, after the first shot of icecold water, Liz's body began to shiver, and serious, she could not control her teeth anymore! talk about being cold... She tried to smile, but it was no use, we saw. After just a few minutes in the icecold water, her feet were turning blue, her face got white... all the fun was gone, she was just a wet and dirty girl being cold in somebody's garden.

So, we decided to continue in the bathroom. Luckily, the house-owners left us a key and have a faitly nice bathroom, so the first thing we did, was stick her in the tub and she took a fully clothed shower with nice hot water. This got some colour back on her face, so we decided to finish the shoot inthere.

Next week, you can see her washing herself, shampooing her hair and wearing a little see-through shirt, but this week, you know the story behind the pictures :-)
