If your HTML is valid and your doctype is good (use HTML 4.01 for the best compatibility) then you should have the least amount of problems. The validator will try and explain your mistakes but if you can n'tfigure out what is wrong use the HTML and CSS reference at http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_reference.asp

When I plugged one of your test URLs into the W3C validator at http://validator.w3.org/detailed.html it reported a lot of HTML errors. Since your document type is defaulting to HTML 2.0 but you are using more recent HTML tags and attributes, it may be that stricter browsers refuse to render the page properly. Whatever you're using to generate the HTML should put the proper doctype in the first line (probably 4.0).

There seems to be a browser compatibility problem with the galleries I recently created. Loads of people were able to see the pics with no problem, but I have had a small number of people reporting to me that the links were broken and they could not see the thumbnails. I have checked everything from several different computers and with IE and Netscape browsers, and everything works fine from my end. I even went to Tracie's house and they all come up fine from her house too. However...3-4 people still say they cannot see the pics. I wonder if this is some peculiarity related to the version of the browser they are using...or whether they are using special browsers like Opera or Mozilla that do not recognize certain html commands.

If anybody else has problems to see my galleries...please email me and specify what browser version you are using.

If anybody knows of any quirks with browsers that can assist folks...let me know....cos I am stumped with this one. Here are the 2 test links that some folks say do not work on their browser.
