Well I see it’s a problem to get wetlook when the sport is not legal.
But what about the most “wetlook potential sport”: swimming? That is not forbidden I think. But how many winners or coaches got thrown in? As far as I can se 1:100 or so.
In some way it’s a shame swimmers have all that water when they don’t use it…

By Desert Hawk - Mon 24/05/04 06:59:22 GMT it would be cool if winning jockies were always thrown in water and/or mud! Especially a woman jockey that I had bet on! Wetlook, and a winnig bet!
Why don't they allow steeplechase racing here in the US? I have seen some on tv, and it is more exciting than regular horse racing, and has some wetlook potential as well. probably some "cruelty to animals" law or similar crap! Jumping hurdles and puddles is not going to put a horse at risk any more than regular racing! Does anyone know of any las Vegas casinos that show steeplechase races in the race and sports books? Probably not, because the Nevada gaming commission probably doesn't want to offend any animal rights groups either. |

In 8 days there are no excuse for not being thrown in pools, fountains, lakes…
Then it’s official summer in the north – I can’t wait
Now all winners should end up in the water like these

I think there are too few who use this celebration. There is no better way to say “good job”, or what ever you say.
