In Cyprus, shorts are not generally so popular with local or European women. These sometimes wear t-shirts over their bathing suits, but very rarely shorts, socks or shoes. Women from the neighbouring Arabic countries often wear shorts, or leggings sometimes.
Judging from my personal experience... in Cyprus we have a strange pattern. Odd years (e.g. 2003) are good for wetlook, even years (e.g. 2002) are not so, let's hope that 2004 will be an exception!
In Greece, on the other hand, wetlook could be sometimes found in the islands which are popular with western or northern European tourists, but the beaches around Athens are not the best place for wetlook; last year I spent over 50 hours on Athenian beaches anf got nothing! This year, with the Olympics, this may improve somewhat as there will be a wider range of visitors (from more places around the world) than in other years. |

By Bob - Thu 13/05/04 21:55:32 GMT Here in Germany it's maybe 5 percent. Most grils wear scanty bikinies. They don't even keep a t-shirt on. When I was in the US, I was amazed how many girls keep some kinda fabrics on. Okay, they do it here aswell, but they are only few. |
