don't know how it got a .mov extension, because it's a mpeg file

just go into explorer, right click on file and rename it replacing the file extension from .mov to  .mpg

then change the file association to media player

it plays fine then

you need a plugin to convert movs using this, again free

you need to add that into the tmpgenc folder

alternatively there's a piece of software, also free

that will convert your mov to an avi- it's a command line programme- I haven't used it so don't ask how it works.

you can't just rename a mov to avi- it just won't run.
