Not only with shorts, but also with jeans ! I remember this very well. I think it was connected with a feeling of liberty in that time. |

during the 70s it was normal for girls to swim (at beaches) with cutoffs and bikini top, or shorts and a shirt.
any idea why it was so popular then, and why it dropped after that.
