Bournemouth and the surrounding areas have good sandy beaches. Warm summer evenings (Saturday nights are best)brings out the 'tipsy' beachcombers. But photography would be difficult for obviousreasons. But even during the day, it's not a bad spot to be. |

By Wet Brian - bdann0875@rootesgroup.fslife.co.uk Sat 14/06/03 11:10:15 GMT Website: www.apex-wetlook.co.uk Aftre wetfraser's post,I thought I'd try to findout what beaches are good for wetlook? This could fit into 2 categories, 1.Good for SEEING wetlook,eg long stretch of beach. 2.Good for FILMING wetlook as some beaches are a little too big so you are a little obvious with a camcorder!!
I'll start with my observations. 1.Skegness,Lincolnshire. A large beach, but has a pier to look and film from, also has a promenade near to the water's edge! 2.Hunstanton,Norfolk. Promenade along the whole of the beach, and the sea comes right to the wall, jut beware of shopkeepers asking questions, like I have been for the past 2 years!! 3.Gorleston,Norfolk Good sandy beach, shallow slope to water, has an outdoor "kids pool" but adults use it too! 3.Lowestoft,Suffolk Good beach, seen good wetlook there, watch for lifeguards watching you! He he! 4.Margate,Kent This is a great beach to see wetlook,I've been there a few times, good results. It's a large beach, but has a "swiming area" and a boating lake that I've seen people swim in. So over to you now! Brian
