I would love to go there for a vacation sometime -- these days Vietnam is very open to the west and is well worth visiting.

FYI...you can find some interesting wetlook all over the country (but mainly in Hanoi) in their traditional water puppet shows that take place in several cities...where you can see the male and female puppeteers wading in the pool during those shows. Just type in "water puppet show" into google and you can find many websites with pics from these shows...
