There's no problem warning people about dialer - my only comment was on that there was wetlook on the links. I've never had any problem with dialers, my system setup is obviously blocking them (ZoneAlarm / Norton AV / Windows 2000 Uptodate), so I can't easily check if there are dialers.

But please continue to post reply messages just saying "dialer" or something, that is fine to warn people who have the problem.

Nigel, accept my apologies for not flagging this one up to you via the abuse link. I only did what I see others do when there is a problem, only I thought I had done so in a non-moaning and civilised manner.

Yes, there is some wetlook if you follow the link...I don't know if it's different material from when it first started appearing here over 3 months ago because I don't want to run the risk of picking up another dialler by going there again.

It just seems a shame that we have to run the (now known) risk of picking up this bad stuff just to enjoy some wetlook on this forum, but from what you say, it sounds as if you are ok with this link because it has wetlook content, so I won't report any similar instances.

Also, FYI, At the time I got the dialler I was using an up-to-date Zone Alarm.

It is hardly 'every few days' !!! If more people emailed me (as requested in the 'rules') rather than posting here, I would pick things up more quickly... I do have a life away from this forum !

Both the links posted did have wetlook on them, even if it was only 1 or 2 pics.

If you are having problems with dialers, then I suggest you install ZoneAlarm and Norton AV ( or almost any other firewall and AV software) and keep them up to date. As far as I'm concerned anyone connecting to the net without these is doing the same as jumping out of a plane without a paracute !

It seems that every couple of days, posts appear with url's of 'sexpics' or 'sexibiza' or similar.

I got caught once by them when in January I went there and got assaulted by popups galore, and a dialler, which in under a minute installed itself on my machine and dialled up an 090 number, resulting in an unnecessary charge of £1.20 on my next phone bill....and I was lucky in noticing what was going on...there are a LOT of people who aren't aware it has happened to them, and are being hit with huge phone bills as a result.

Now, here we are 3 months later and this guy/outfit is still posting this menace url up with monotonous regularity, and some people who visit here must get caught every time a post appears.

I wonder if you have checked anything out yet re this...is it the same IP, for instance....

Your thoughts/comments?
