I guess I am not a fashion expert, because for me thats a really crappy outfit (wet or dry) and if I were selecting outfits for a wetloot shoot I would never choose an outfit like that in a million years,
But if you are Paul McCartney's daughter.....who has a long history as a designer of really crappy clothing....what better way to promote your outfit by giving it to a world famous celebrity who will trash it for you....a great publicity stunt.
The interesting thing is Cannes and the French Riviera has long history, since the 1950's, as being the place where unknown wannabee starlets try to get "discovered" by doing sexy publicity stunts on the beach, or getting thrown in the pool at celebrity pool parties.

The concept used to be to get some attention if you were an unknown model.
Pam Anderson seems to be telling everybody that she is over the hill and no longer getting the attention she once had....so has he resorted to do publicity stunts now......
The French Riviera used to be the place where unknown starlets tried to get discovered.....and now it is the place for over the hill actresses to try and regain the fame they once had.
Angelina Jolie once did the same kind of stunt before she was a mega star....but she does not need to do that these days.

By EdR - asplashofglamour@gmail.com Thu 03/08/17 14:12:03 GMT Anthony, basically this was a fashion shoot, so more than likely, the outfit was provided for by the designer. Yes they can afford to trash expensive clothes for a photo shoot with a well known celebrity to sell the garments. Too bad the outfit isn't marketed as swimwear, so we could see more well dressed swimmers at the beach or at a public pool. Too bad that she wasn't wearing shoes. To me, without an equally expensive pair of heels to go with the outfit, the outfit looks incomplete. After all most women wouldn't show up at a business meeting or negotiating million dollar contracts in bare feet and a business outfit.

By AnthonyX - anthonyx@jowc.net Thu 03/08/17 03:48:04 GMT Interesting.
Caption reads (in part): "Anderson wears a Stella McCartney jacket, $1,495, and pants, $835"...
$2,300 designer outfit and she swims in it. Must be nice to have that kind of money to throw around.
Such tiny pictures, can hardly see the outfit, almost more tease than the close-up I referenced in my question.
But still kinda neat - always fun to see business-y wear in situations like that, and still looks OK despite being obviously past her prime.

In reply to Message (71013) Pamela Anderson suit + water
By AnthonyX - anthonyx@jowc.net Thu 03/08/17 00:09:54 GMT Happened upon this today:
https://peopledotcom.files.wordpress.com/2017/08/73840009_v3.jpg?w=3300&h=2661
Apparently, she was doing some modelling on the French Riviera recently.
Is this as close to wetlook (dry tease) as we get, or could there be more (and actually wet) images of her in suits n stuff?
